PISA 2018 Global Competencies Measurement

On 1 July, the series evidence-based global learning concluded with a lecture of Professor Annette Scheunpflug on PISA 2018 Global Competencies Measurement. Prof. Scheunpflug gave an in-depth insight into the background and the procedure of the survey. She identified critical points regarding the conceptional foundations and its adopted perspective. Learning in and through partnerships

On 6 May, University of Bamberg Professor Annette Scheunpflug (GENE Chair) gave a lecture, entitled Learning in and through partnerships - empirical results and suggestions for evidence-based practice. The lecture presented empirical findings from qualitative-reconstructive teaching-learning research, discussing the question: how do young people from the global South and North, who have experiential access to global phenomena in partnerships, understand world society?
